Philip Sharp

Director

Philip is a highly experienced Water Engineer specialising in technical advice, project/contract management, design development and delivery of major water and other infrastructure projects. He has a wide range of experience in the water sector in both consulting and construction organisations in the UK and abroad.  Recent private sector participation projects include pre and post construction technical audits of newly installed desalination (reverse osmosis), sludge incineration, wastewater treatment and sewerage assets.

Simon Langton

Associate Consultant

Simon has a background of over 15 years in water and 20 in the highways sector. This is coupled to a strong strategic, commercial, financial expertise and focus with significant experience in the analysis of organisational, technical and financial performance and the development and implementation of appropriate structures and programmes for performance improvement.

He has a B.Sc. and M.Sc(Eng) from the University of Birmingham and an MBA from the University of Warwick.

David is a Customer Service Expert and qualified environmental scientist with excellent general, financial and people management skills. With over 30 years experience in the water industry, he has a strong track record in change management, customer service delivery and business process re-engineering. . His later customer services appointments necessitated high level Industry and Management training and diplomas which included an Advanced Management Programme at the prestigious INSEAD Institute.

Over the last 49 years, Richard has held appointments associated with the design and operation of waste water treatment works. More recently he has acted as Technical Adviser to Aberdeen Environmental Services (the PFI Contractor to Scottish Water) for the design, construction and operation of 5 wastewater treatment schemes in Scotland, to the London Borough of Newham concerning the Thames Water planning application for extensions to Beckton Wastewater Treatment Works and as Expert Process Witness in the High Court Mogden Group Litigation.

Michael Sharp

Michael has a background in Business Management and Procurement in large technical private and public sector contracts. He has undertaken supply-chain performance improvement to help clients streamline their projects and internal management processes.

He is well versed in Negotiations, Value Engineering and Process Improvement Planning, Tender analysis and Commercial Relationship Management.

Working with some of the largest international organisations Michael has instigated build-cost modelling, stock inventories and delivered bespoke training workshops for client’s internal procurement teams.

Anthony’s key experience includes design and commissioning of municipal & industrial water treatment, desalination (SWRO, BWRO, MED TVC), brine disposal/treatment (ZLD technologies), industrial wastewater treatment; municipal and industrial wastewater reuse; process design, research & development, process commissioning & optimisation, WTW and desalination plant operation.  

Knowledge of International water quality legislation; membrane technologies (Reverse osmosis, nano, ultra, & microfiltration); seawater & brackish water desalination by reverse osmosis; municipal water treatment process; physiochemical municipal & industrial wastewater reuse technologies and management of research & development programmes for water utilities. Review of environmental impact assessments associated with various water treatment processes and desalination, and methodologies utilised to limit impacts.
